New Delhi: In a welcome step, the Maharashtra government on Tuesday allowed the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to conduct probe against Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, who has been accused of irregularities in the awarding of the Maharashtra Sadan contracts.
CNN-IBN had first reported on the matter whereby relatives of Bhujbal were reportedly given the contracts for the building that is under construction in Delhi.
Bhujbal, however, has denied any wrongdoing.
