New Delhi: He is the man who owned much of Gandhi's legacy till twenty days back but is now laying claims on his philosophy as well. James Otis, the American Art Collector who shot into limelight by auctioning Gandhi items in New York is all set to introduce the Mahatma to China.

“I am going to launch a Satyagraha in China against the Chinese oppression of the tibetians. we are going to get arrested there,” says US collector, James Otis.

In the capital on Friday, Otis didn’t waste any time in trying to woo back the Indian public he had upset by putting the Gandhi items under the hammer. This was inspite of the hectic lobbying by the Indian government to stall the auction.

“I want to apologies to all the Indians who feel I might have hurt, all the money that i am earning from these auctions will go to non violent struggles across the world,” adds James Otis.

The Otis saga doesn’t end here. In the coming days, he along with Vijay Mallya is expected to reveal where the proceeds from the auction will go.

“You will get to know very soon where the money from the proceeds will go. I can't reveal now,” states James Otis.

So even as Gandhi's items make their way back to the country, .Otis says for him, the Mahatma goes where he goes.
