Director Shankar, who has delivered nothing but blockbusters in his decade long career and enjoys pan Indian fans, will launch top notch Telugu actor Mahesh Babu in Hindi.
Not just that, it's said that this will be the Hindi remake of 'I', since Hrithik Roshan couldn't accept Shankar's offer as he couldn't accommodate the dates, Shankar has opted for Mahesh Babu.
A runthrough meeting between the two in Chennai took place, last week when Mahesh flew to Chennai, has led to these rumours.

The Hindi remake of \'I\' will be directed by Shankar and will be starred by Mahesh Babu and Amy Jackson.
Starring Vikram and Amy Jackson, 'I' by Shankar is to be canned at various international locales and sees the both as super models. It's an out and out commercial venture and the introductory song was recently canned at huge sets in Chennai.
