Chennai: Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat will play a negative role in Kamala Haasan's forthcoming Tamil film Dasavataram.

Kamala Hassan said Mallika had accepted the role of a villain.

He said the brief discussion with Mallika took place when she was in Chennai recently shooting for Mani Ratnam’s Guru, in which she plays a crucial cameo role.

According to Kamala, Mallika told him she was "prepared to play any role" in a film made by him. Meanwhile, Kamala is playing 10 different roles in the film.
