LG Electronics India recently conducted the second round of Mallika-e-Kitchen Cooking Contest 2011 at Hyderabad Marriot, Saphire Hall.
The contest was judged by executive sous chef M V Naidu of Marriott Hotel. 18 finalists were shortlisted from Andhra Pradesh region in the first round to participate in the second round of Mallika-e-kitchen.
Two winners were selected — I Lakshmi from the city and D Aruna from Vizag, who will now compete in the national round of Mallika-e-kitchen.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajiv Jain, business head, Home Appliances, LG Electronics India said, “We are glad to successfully complete the second round of Mallika-e-Kitchen and proceeding on to the next round of the cooking contest. The response from Hyderabad has been tremendous.”
