Kolkata: Former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee on Sunday strongly criticised the Mamata Banerjee government, saying that it "failed to deliver" goods in all spheres during its rule last one year.

"The state is lagging behind in all areas with no news of fresh investment, no clear industrial policy, misrule in panchayat system and deteriorating law and order," Bhattacharjee said at a rally at Dum Dum during campaign for the upcoming municipal poll.

Bhattacharjee alleged that IT major Infosys might leave the state for want of proper industrial policy of the state government.

\'Mamata Govt\'s one year did not yield any result\'

Buddhadeb alleged that IT major Infosys might leave the state for want of proper industrial policy of the state government.

"Besides farmers are committing suicide, Trinamool Congress workers are forcibly capturing colleges one after another. They are driving out CPI(M) workers to capture our party offices," Bhattacharjee said.

"Have you ever seen us to capture Trinamool Congress offices during our rule in the state?" he questioned. Outlining a series of 'failures' of the Mamata Banerjee government, Bhattacharjee called upon people to turn their back on the Trinamool Congress-led government and repose faith in the Left Front for a better Bengal.
