New Delhi: Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday met President-elect Pranab Mukherjee and congratulated him on being elected to the top post.
Mamata, who will be attending Wednesday's function for the swearing-in of Pranab as the next President, drove to his Talkatora Road residence straight from the Delhi airport soon after her arrival from Kolkata.
Sources close to the West Bengal Chief Minister said Pranab thanked her during their interaction.
