Manchester: Manchester City have completed the signing of Brazil defender Maicon for an undisclosed fee from Italian side Inter Milan.
City say on their website Friday that Maicon "will meet Blues manager (Roberto) Mancini and his new teammates when he returns from international duty next week."
The 31-year-old Maicon, a right back, has played for his country 66 times and made 235 appearances for Inter, scoring 20 goals. He has joined alongside attacking midfielder Scott Sinclair and goalkeeper Richard Wright on transfer deadline day.
