KOTTAYAM: A man and his daughter died when their car hit a tree at Kanakkary, near Nambyakulam in Kuravilangad, on Friday.
Pareeth, 72, and his daughter Raseena, 28, died on the spot, police said. Their driver Vishnu, 25, has been admitted to Kottayam Medical College with serious injuries.
Pareeth’s son, who was also in the car, escaped with minor injuries, police said.
They were going to Kottayam from Cherthala when the mishap occurred. Their bodies have been kept at the Medical College Hospital.
