Man gunned down in North East Delhi

New Delhi: On Wednesday night, unidentified men gunned down a property dealer at Yamuna Vihar in North-East Delhi.

Forty-year-old Mohammad Salim was on his way home on a bike when he was waylaid by some men in a car.

The shooters fled after pumping two bullets into Saleem, who died on the way to hospital.

Police are investigating the matter and the motive behind the crime. No arrests have been made yet.

Incidents of gun violence have increased manifold lot in Delhi. On Thursday, a Gurgaon property dealer was shot dead outside the Roseland school in the area.

He had dropped his children to school and was returning home.

Last month, a man was shot in broad daylight in the Capital's Kalkaji area. Less than 48 hours later, a woman was shot dead as she was driving home in her car to Noida.
