Mani Ratnam, along with select members of the cast and crew of his forthcoming flick 'Kadal', left for Andaman on Tuesday to shoot some important scenes of the film, including a song sequence.
"Starting today, Kadal will be shot in the exotic locales of Andaman & Nicobar islands. Mani Ratnam has zeroed in on some unexplored locales there," say sources.
The film marks the debut of Karthik's son Gautham and Radha's son Thulasi. Remember Karthik and Radha too had made their debut together, in Bharathiraja's 'Alaigal Oiyvadhillai'.

'Kadal' has music by A R Rahman, with Arjun and a host of popular faces playing pivotal roles. Touted to be set in the backdrop of the lives of fishermen, the movie is said to be a romantic thriller.
