KOTTAYAMThe Special Investigation Team lead by Ernakulam Range IG K Padmakumar on Thursday reviewed the progress of the probe into the revelations made by CPM Idukki district secretary M M Mani.
In the meeting held at the Police Club here, the preliminary report of the case to be submitted in court was reviewed. It was decided that more evidence needed to be collected as the incidents related to the case took place a long time ago. It was also agreed upon that Mani will be arrested only after collecting strong evidence against him.
Padmakumar said after the meeting that the case was progressing positively.
