Although there won't be any Bollywood stars walking the ramp, Manish promises to interpret the theme of the event -free spirit- innovatively.
“It is a challenge each time. Last year in Delhi my whole collection was on love,” says Manish.
The fashion extravaganza has also introduced a new 'face' for the brand- Amrit Maghera. An Indian based in the UK, she is a singer, a dancer, and also, an aspiring actor.
And if you haven't guessed it yet, it's not just Indian fashion that's got her interested.
"Lakme representatives have had a history of success in Bollywood, so I too will try,” says Amrit.
However, will this face be a force to reckon with in Bollywood? Only time will tell.
