New Delhi: Maruti workers on strike in Manesar have been ordered to vacate the venue as they did not take permission to hold their strike.
As the strike entered the sixth day, Haryana and All India Trade Union Congress members joined the workers.
The 600 Maruti workers have been on strike, demanding that a new union be recognised. The production at the plant which manufactures 1200 cars a day has come to a standstill.
The strike has amounted to losses of over Rs 150 crore and there are no signs of any breakthrough for now as both the workers and the management are unwilling to soften their stands.
