THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The mask of the CPM is being torn apart with each passing day in the T P Chandrasekharan murder case and the CPM leaders could no longer hoodwink the people through their utterances, KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala said.
He said that the people have realised the role of CPM in the grotesque murder of  Chandrasekharan and the allegations levelled against the UDF are nothing but moves to deflect public attention.  Ramesh  said that the attempts to corner and attack Union Minister Mullapally Ramachandran will be strongly countered.
The minister, in whose constituency the murder had taken place, had only stated that the probe by the state police in the case is now moving in the right direction but if at any stage it goes astray, agencies which probed the Thalaserry Fazal murder case and other cases will be introduced.
The reactions of the CPM leadership are nothing but a desperate face-saving exercise. The party cannot wriggle out of the brutal murder in any manner, he said.
