New Delhi: A massive fire at a factory in the industrial township of Ankleshwar in Gujarat forced three villages to be evacuated as a precautionary measure.
Property worth millions of rupees was destroyed but no casualties have been reported so far.
The massive fire broke out at the storehouse of Bharuch Environ Infrastructure Limited.
The incident took place around 5.30 pm after 15 drums containing hazardous wastes caught fire.
The fire was brought under control late at night. The area has now been cordoned off and the villages of Dadhal, Jitali and Saifuddin evacuated.
