MBA students' car rams into truck, 2 dead

New Delhi: An evening of fun went horribly wrong for three youngsters in the Capital when their car crashed into a moving truck in Gurgaon. Naman Sharma and Gagan Gill, both students of a private business school in Noida were killed in the crash while returning home from a party.

Their friend, Gurmeet Singh, survived and is currently admitted in the ICU of Paras Hospital.

The family blames it on the lack of road sense.

A friend of the deceased says, "No one pays heed to the traffic rules. Everyone jumps traffic lights. The police should be there to direct the traffic."

Naman and Gagan belonged to well-heeled families from Chattisgarh. They were living on their own in a rented house in Noida. Police believe they could have been drinking when the accident happened.

SHO, Udyog Vihar, Uday Raj Singh says, "We recovered beer bottles from the car but we will know if they were drunk once the post-mortem report is out."

The driver of the truck ran away soon after the incident. The police are trying track him down to determine exactly how the accident happened.
