New Delhi: Fifteen miners remain trapped inside a coal mine for the sixth day in a row in the Rongsa Awe village in Meghalaya. The Rongsa Awe village is in the South Garo Hills district.
The miners been trapped there since Friday afternoon. Rescue workers are trying to pump out water from the mines to save the men, but their efforts have been futile so far.
The police have arrested three persons including the mine developer.
