New Delhi: It’s stylish, sporty and very sexy. The new Mercedes S-Class in its 9th avatar promises to drive customers off their feet.

It’s turned 50 and is getting its 9th makeover. The new S-Class, Mercedes, claims, is "larger than its predecessor in every respect".

Quality, features and size - it's a big, agile car to drive, not be driven in and that’s why I decided to get behind the wheel.

Lets take a look at the interiors. This car leaves you in no doubt that you are driving in the lap of luxury. The new dash layout works much better than the previous model.

The adaptive air suspension makes the drive quality impeccable. A "command control" system looks after many in car functions like navigation, audio, telephone and climate and also chassis dynamics.

Its seats are designed to ‘hug’ the driver and passenger to counteract cornering forces. The new S-Class defies its bulk giving a sporty ‘solid’ feel.

On the outside, the styling is more aggressive with pronounced wheel arches, high top boot lid, curving roof turret line and imposing grille.

Overall the car has a remarkable refinement especially lack of road noise. Agile for its size, rapid and fun to drive, and if you can afford it at Rs 72 lakh, you can pick up this beauty.

If you've got it, flaunt it as the S-Class has got just about everything.
