New Delhi: Bollywood has found its new love in Punjabis. It's not just the Punjabi tracks that are making their way into Bollywood films but most of the directors now have their stories woven around a Punjabi family which has loud, hilarious characters adding their own colour to the script. After the success of Shoojit Sircar's 'Vicky Donor', a debut director has now set her film in the backdrop of a Punjabi wedding.
Ashima Chibber's new film 'Mere Dad Ki Maruti' is about Sameer (Saqib Saleem) who sneaks away his dad's new car to impress his college friend and all hell breaks loose when he loses the car.
Saqib Saleem, who made his debut with 'Mujhse Friendship Karoge', is returning to the silver screen with yet another Yash Raj film and giving him company is none other than small screen's star Ram Kapoor.
