New Delhi: Micromax is going to come up with two new tablets - Funbook Alpha and Funbook Infinity - in India.
The Micromax Funbook Alpha will have a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. The tablet will be powered by a 1GHz A8 processor, and will run Android 4.0 ICS operating system. It will come engineered with a 2800mAh battery. The Micromax Funbook Alpha will have 4GB Flash memory, which will be expandable up to 32GB. The tablet will be priced under Rs 6,500.
On the other hand, the Funbook Infinity will also feature a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and a 1 Ghz A8 processor, but it will sport a 2 megapixel front camera and a 0.3 megapixel rear camera. The Micromax Funbook Infinity tablet will also have dual front speakers.

Micromax will also launch its two new low-cost phones - Ninja 3.5 and Ninja 4.0 - by the end of this month.
The Funbook Infinity will come packed with a 4000 mAh battery. It will also run Android 4.0 ICS OS. The Funbook Infinity will be priced slightly above Rs 6,500, which is the price at which the company priced its first tablet - Funbook.
"We will come up with these two tablets in next two to three weeks," said Deepak Mehrotra, CEO, Micromax.
Also, the company has announced to launch its two new low-cost phones - Micromax Ninja 3.5 and Micromax Ninja 4.0 - by the end of this month.
