The latest horror film this week, 'Oculus', has been directed by Mike Flanagan.

10:55 AM: #Oculus is based on an earlier short film by Mike Flanagan (the director), titled, 'Oculus: Chapter 3 - The Man with the Plan'.

11:06 AM: #Oculus begins with Brenton Thwaites describing a dream to his therapist.

11:13 AM: In a flashback spanning over 11 years ago, Karen Gillan and Brenton Thwaites' characters had come across something...inexplicable. #Oculus

11:16 AM: "You promised me you'd never forget what really happened that night." Karen Gillan in #Oculus

11:21 AM: When the characters in the film start talking to inanimate objects, you know the scary stuff is coming. #Oculus

11:23 AM: Plants shriveling up and dying is a definite sign of supernatural influences, no? #Oculus

11:28 AM: Slooooowly opening doors, creaking floorboards and haunted objects. #Oculus has all the ingredients of an intriguing, spooky drama.

11:35 AM: The brother and the sister who are haunted by their past, are now conducting an experiment to unravel the incident. #Oculus

11:46 AM: #Oculus is sloooowly upping the creepy factor. Dogs biting their own masters, books that arrange themselves and moving band-aids.

11:58 AM: Tim rejects his sister Kaylie's theory that something supernatural was responsible for the incidents that led to their family's ruin #Oculus

12:00 PM: But Kaylie has set up cameras, temperature control and other electronic traps for that "something", in their family's old home. #Oculus

12:13 PM: The scene with Katee Sackhoff in front of the mirror is SCARY. #Oculus

12:22 PM: One of the things we learnt from #Oculus is that don't confuse an apple with a light bulb.

12:33 PM: "Pls have your father call us. The doctor will be there tomorrow." Those harmless sentences were never more creepier #Oculus. #scary

12:47 PM: "Promise me that we kill that thing, for mom and dad." The climax scene in #Oculus is EPIC.
