New Delhi: Militants struck Goa Governor S C Jamir’s convoy on Saturday morning, who escaped unhurt.
The militants, suspected to be from NSCN(IM), hurled grenades at the convoy carrying Jamir and his wife to Upper Assam from Mokokchung.
Security personnel accompanying Jamir fired upon the militants and convoy made it safely to its destination. No one was injured.
Jamir is a former Chief Minister of Nagaland.
