Mini-marathon marks Mothers Day

BHUBANESWAR: A mini-marathon was organised by the Mother’s Business School here on Sunday to mark the Mother’s Day.
Students in the age group of 14-17 years from various schools of the City participated.
 Ollywood stars Archita and Sabyasachi and sportswomen Anuradha Biswal and Sraddhanjali Samantray flagged off the mini-marathon that covered 5 km. First three successful runners were given away cash awards and six others consolation prizes.
 On the occasion, poster-making and poetry recitation on the theme ‘Mother’ were organised. Among others, Ms Poly, Principal of Mother’s Public School, and Sheshadev Mohapatra, Principal, Mother’s Business School, were present. The authorities said plans are afoot to organise a Mother’s premier league football tournament in the City.
