New Delhi: In a shocking incident in the Capital, a 22-year-old girl was allegedly molested by a group of school students.
The girl was eve-teased by a group of school students while she was returning from her college on Thursday. Later, when she went to their school to complain, the girl was allegedly molested by a large group of students in a classroom.
All the students are reportedly less than 12 years of age.
However, police say it is not the first time an incident like this has come to their notice. According to them there has been a sudden and sharp rise in the number of juveniles involved in eve-teasing cases in the Capital.
Psychologists believe kids from lower strata are more prone towards such unlawful activities.
“There is no proper channel of expressing this kind of sexual libido in the lives of these children especially of lower socio economic strata. There are no vigilant parents that are present for them or even in education institutions there is no professional help or counsellor," says clinical psychologist, Bhavna Burmi.
