New Delhi: Actress Shreya Saran recently had a bad experience when one of her fans misbehaved with her while she was on a private visit to the Tirupathi temple.
“I came out of the temple right after my darshan and there was this guy standing right behind me. He misbehaved with me and, I turned around and slapped him right across his face," Shreya recalls.
Shreya might portray herself as coy woman on-screen but has proved quite feisty off-screen.
"Men think they can get away with anything. I think eve-teasing and any kind of misbehaviour in public places is unacceptable," she says.
The Sivaji star is presently shooting for the film What's Cooking in Delhi.
Shreya says, "I'm very excited about this film called What's Cooking, it's been written by the Mehta siblings Deepa and Dilip and has been directed by Dilip Mehta. The film has a very interesting storyline but I really can't talk about it as of now."
And that's not all, post the mega-success of Sivaji Shreya has quite a few interesting projects up her sleeve.
"I'm doing this Hollywood film under the MGM banner produced by Ashok Amritraj, it's called The Other End of the Line. Apart from that there is Mission Istanbul By Apoorva Lakia, it has a huge star cast with Zayed Khan and Vivek Oberoi in it," she adds.
She is a firebrand in real life and handles diverse roles in reel life.
