New Delhi: A 28-year-old call centre employee, who was missing since Tuesday from the national capital, was found dead in mysterious circumstance in adjoining Faridabad, police said on Saturday.
The victim has been identified as Sagrika Ghosh, a resident of south Delhi's Vasant Vihar.
Sagrika had left her home for office in Noida on Tuesday but did not return home till late night next day.
Her father J Z Narayan approached police and lodged a kidnapping case in this regard on March 19.
On Friday night, Sagrika's dead body was discovered by Faridabad Police three kilometre ahead from Surajkund area. "She was identified and we were informed about the incident," said a senior police official.
The official further stated that Sagrika's body did not bear any injury mark.
The deceased, Sagrika, was the only daughter of her parents. She used to work with a call centre in Noida sector 126 and had been living along with her parents.
Her father J Z Narayan is a retired government official.
Police is now awaiting for post mortem report to lodge a murder case.
