Mumbai: After Maharashtra Shiv Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray attacked Jaya Bachchan on her controversial comment over speaking in Hindi, it is Shiv Sena which has targeted Shah Rukh Khan for calling himself a delhiwala in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.

Though Jaya issued an apology in newspapers saying, “I am very sorry if I have hurt the sentiments of Marathi speaking people in Mumbai and Maharashtra. My remark about choosing to speak in Hindi was said innocently.”

But for Thackeray this apology is not enough. He threatened to ban all Bachchan family movies and advertisements in Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena activists have also attacked King Khan for calling himself a delhiwala in his 1995 blockbuster Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.

“Those who call themselves UP walas or Bihar walas are a threat to the whole nation,” says Samna Editor Sanjay Raut.

With these controversies, it seems both MNS and Shiv Sena are trying to make the maximum for the elections.
