Mumbai: The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers on Sunday allegedly attacked the Indiabulls Finance Centre in Lower Parel area. Police said 10 to 15 MNS workers started pelting stones at the office building and the security guards had to shut the main gate to prevent them from entering the premises.
The workers went on a rampage after MNS chief Raj Thackeray, earlier in the day, at a rally in Amravati alleged that water meant for farmers in many drought-hit areas in the state was being diverted to private industry.
He had specifically mentioned the name of an Indiabulls' project and had warned if the practice won't stop, his party would launch a protest.
