Divya Spandana, who is better known as Kuthu Ramya in Kollywood, was shooting for a movie directed by veteran Kodi Ramakrishna in Mysore on Sept 20, when the shoot was disrupted by a mob.
Remember Sept 20 was declared as bandh by some political parties, opposing the Central government's move to hike the diesel prices and to allow foreign direct investment in retail.
So when the protesters came to know that a film was being shot, they thronged the sets and disrupted the proceedings by allegedly pelting stones and raising slogans.

"There is nothing wrong in protests. But they need to be peaceful. Opposition should be conveyed in a decent way. It is certainly not a wise thing to take violence in hands," says Divya.
