New Delhi: The Gujarat Congress on Sunday hit out at Chief Minister Narendra Modi, with party leader Arjun Modhwadia calling him a political terrorist and saying that the BJP had surrendered before him.
"People of India know him (Narendra Modi) very well. He is doing political terrorism," Modhwadia said.
He added that the BJP leader seemed afraid of Sanjay Joshi, who recently quit the party, seemingly under pressure from the Gujarat Chief Minister.
"Why is he afraid of Sanjay Joshi? There is no reason behind doing this. The BJP is surrendering in front of Narendra Modi. If Joshi has done anything wrong, then disciplinary action should have been taken against him," he said.
He added, "Manmohan Singh ji is the world's best economist. We will come out from this problem soon."
He further slammed the BJP for "not taking any action" against former Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa, who is facing corruption charges.
