New Delhi: Chief Minister for a third term Narendra Modi is not only the man of the moment in Gujarat politics. He is also shining on the blogosphere.
When IBNLive.com invited people's reactions on the outcome of the Gujarat polls on Sunday, the response was more than overwhelming.
Over 1,000 people wrote in their views on Modi and the nature of the polity in Gujarat.
The Modi-bashers, the Modi-worshippers and the fence-sitters, citizens of India and NRIs, Gujaratis and non-Gujaratis - they all made their presence felt.
While people like Rakesh Dhawan from New Delhi wrote in saying: ''Modi won despite Sonia Gandhi branding him a Maut Ka Saudagar (Merchant of death) - others like Arjun Narayanan from Kerala injected a bit of humour in their writings, wanting to know what the Chief Minister intended to do with all the Modi masks.
Still others like Sanjay Behuria from Hyderabad were skeptical whether the outcome actually was a people's victory.
The clear winner - just like his hero Modi who emerged victorious by a large margin - was Ritesh Malhotra, a resident of Singapore. He wrote: Narendrabhai Modi is the Putin of Indian Politics. Putin is the Time Person of the year and I suggest IBNLive Person of the year should be Narendrabhai.
