Money matters at XLRI, Jamshedpur

New Delhi: It's raining money at XLRI, Jamshedpur. The average salary at the management school has increased by a whopping 50 per cent from Rs 8.4 lakh per annum last year to Rs 12.6 lakh per annum this year.

The highest domestic salary bagged was Rs 16 lakh per annum, while the highest international offer stood at US $100,000 per annum.

Hundred and eighty students were recruited by 58 companies that came down for placements.

While maximum offers were made by the finance sector which recruited 30 per cent of the batch, consulting companies picked up 24 per cent and FMCG recruited 20 per cent of the batch.

TSMG, Trident, Rabo Bank and Stern Stewart were among the new recruiters this year.
