As a tribute to the king of pop, The Lunar Republic Society has renamed a crater on the moon, Michael Joseph Jackson, a befitting ode to one of the biggest stars of all time.
Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan also has expressed his sorrow.
Shah Rukh Khan said, “I feel I have lost my youth by the sudden death of Michael Jackson. I'm not a music lover at all. When I got my first iPod, the only music I knew, the only music I hear, though it is considered old fashioned for the last few years, is Michael Jackson.
Meanwhile, just days after his (Jackson’s) funeral, there was yet another twist to the controversy surrounding Michael Jackson's death. His sister La Toya has claimed that the 'King of Pop' was murdered for his fortune and claims to even know who killed him. In an interview with News of the World, La Toya said her brother was fed a series of addictive drugs over a long period of time to keep him submissive and to control him.
And as the custody battle for Michael's kids heats up, his father Joe Jackson wants to take the three children on tour as The Jackson Three.
A plan that seems to have angered his family members. It has also been reported that his former wife Debbie Rowe struck a deal with mother Katherine to keep Joe Jackson away from the children.
Tributes to the pop icon are still coming in. More than 6000 fans thronged to Jackson's birthplace in Gary, Indiana where perfomers danced to his hits.
On the web too, Jackson is being immortalised through a video game.
