New Delhi: No sooner as a little lull has been seen over the alleged communal hate-speech of Varun Gandhi, another controversial CD of the politician has surfaced.
The Election Commission has received yet another CD of BJP leader and scion of the Nehru-Gandhi lineage Varun Gandhi, which too allegedly contains hate-speech.
The EC is meeting in on Sunday to discuss the issue.
Varun had, on Friday replied to the EC's notice on the anti-Muslim speech allegedly made by him in Pilibhit.
He has claimed that the CD showing him making the communal speech is a doctored one.
But the EC has put the onus on him to prove that the voice in the CD’s soundtrack is not his.
Meanwhile, the BJP has disowned Varun's statement.
It has said that EC should not associate it with the party.
