But this is not the traditional ma that you've seen so far in Hindi movies. “It’s about a woman who's a mix of old and new, she gives more space to her girls then boys,” she says.
The film which is set in Chandigarh, takes a light hearted look at Mummy ji who has more than her fair share of mamma's boys played by two newcomers, Viraf Patel and Sachin..
“I really don’t know what I am doing in the film,” laughs Patel.
This English family entertainer aims to appeal to everyone, with Hindi and Punjabi music tracks.
Also starring Jackie Shroff and Kanwaljeet Singh, the film will release on October 5.
