New Delhi: Moulin Rouge starring Nicole Kidman has been named the best film of the decade according to a new poll conducted by Lovefilms, a DVD rental service company.
The musical starring Nicole Kidman beat the latest Batman film, The Dark Knight to grab the top spot. British film Shaun of the Dead was named third best film of the decade.
It's followed by two of the film adaptations of Tolkein's legendary Lord of the Rings trilogy - with Fellowship of the Ring at four and The Return of the King at six.
Sandwiched between the two blockbusters is Russel Crowe starrer epic Gladiator. Other films which made it to the top 10 were Pan's Labyrinth and Pirates of the Caribbean, Donnie Darko and Wall E.
