New Delhi: Inter Milan's new coach Jose Mourinho and his team have began their pre-season build-up.
The Serie A Champions appointed Mourinho as their new coach in June. He signed a three-year deal with the Italian club as a replacement for Roberto Mancini.
Despite their impressive domestic form, Inter have struggled in the Champions League in the recent past. But Mourinho is hopeful that Milan are ready to move on.
"I think that to be a winner is not only winning but being never tired of winning. A winning man and a coach is someone who wins and wants to do so again and again. In this way this first time I've spoken with the players, it seems to me a group that wish to win, a group with ambition and motivation," Maurinho says.
The club has also signed Brazilian midfielder Amantino Mancini. The 27-year-old player joined Inter from AS Roma on a four-year contract.
Roma issued a statement saying they will receive $20.79 million over three years for Mancini's transfer, plus a bonus linked to his performance.
