Mozilla Firefox for Android with HTML5 support launched

New Delhi: Mozilla Firefox, the popular browser for computers and mobile devices, has announced the launch of its latest version of its mobile browser for Android powered smartphones and tablets with the inclusion of HTML 5 support.

Older Android version of the Firefox browser although is compatible with devices running Android 2.1 and above the new version will be available only on smartphones running Android 2.2 and above versions.

The Firefox for Android mobile web browser gets a redesigned user interface, improved tabbed browsing and includes tweaks to speed up the whole browsing experience. Firefox for Android now supports direct query and search right from the address bar.

The new version will be available only on smartphones running Android 2.2 and above versions.

The search is powered by Google search and uses a secure connection too. The browser now loads all the plug-ins on demand allowing the browser to perform faster and be improves response.

The new version of the Mozilla Firefox browser also supports in browser flash as well. So that users can directly play videos from websites such as YouTube and other popular websites right in the browser.
