MP: Girl kills father for trying to molest her

Balaghat: An 18-year-old girl allegedly killed her father with the help of her uncle when he tried to molest her, police said on Wednesday.

Top Singh Dhalavi, 50, had on several occasions made sexual overtures towards his daughter, following which she was sent by her mother to Dhaba village, where the girl's uncle stayed, they said.

However, Dhalavi reached the village and again made an attempt to molest the girl on Tuesday, following which she and her uncle Ramji Gond killed him using a heavy object.

According to police, the two accused were arrested on Wednesday and sent to judicial custody.
