MP stages dharna in Vizag

VISAKHAPATNAM: Lagadapati Rajagopal, Congress Lok Sabha member from Vijayawada, has demanded stringent action against Gali Janardhan Reddy for allegedly bribing CBI court judge T Pattabhi Rama Rao to obtain bail. Rajagopal staged a dharna here on Friday to press his demand for action against all those involved in the crime. He said Jagan could offer more bribe than what Janardhan Reddy had given to the judge (Rs 5 crore) and alleged that Janardhan was a close associate of Jagan.
He appealed to the  apex court to take action against the bribe giver and the bribe taker to serve as a warning to other judges and officials. Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, MLAs Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao and P Ramesh Babu and City Congress Committee secretary K Charan Kumar met the MP and expressed their support.
