Chhattisgarh: He may be on a wheel chair but he is leaving no stone unturned in wheeling around the state. For Ajit Jogi, the wheel has turned a full circle.

From losing the last bitterly fought election to being suspended from the Congress after being caught in a sting, to now leading the party's campaign in Chattisgarh again.

Helping him in his cause is his wife, Dr Renu. Jogi quit the civil serives to help the masses and now she has given up her medical career to help out her husband.

"If the Congress is voted back to power, Sonia Gandhi and the MLAs will decide as to who will be the next Chief Minister," says Dr Renu Jogi.

She is the one taking her husband's message to every door, whether in Ajit Jogi's constituency of Marwahi or her own in Kota. There are no huge rallies and only neighbourbood meetings are organised. Renu Jogi has also made an identity card for her voters saying all Jogi voters are part of one family.

Meanwhile, Ajit Jogi says, "Every Congress worker is doing his duty and so am I."

With the husband wife team in charge of the tiny state of Chahttisgarh, it's almost become a matter of protecting the family honour for the Jogis.
