New Delhi: Indian Premier League team Mumbai Indians owner Mukesh Ambani has denied reports of picking up 51 per cent shares in English Premier League side Liverpool.
Some reports say have claimed that Ambani is said to have offered to pay off the club's £237 million debt in return for a huge stake in the club.
Liverpool's American owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett Jr have been under pressure all season to sell the club after reports of mounting debts that's curbing the club's expenses, specially in the transfer market.
It has also been reported by the British media that Sahara Group's Chairman, Subrata Roy has also made a similar bid.
