Chennai: Most industry pundits are of the opinion that multistarrers in Kollywood are usually more difficult to make.
There are several reasons that have forced them to come to this conclusion. Prime among these is the availability of dates of all the stars concerned during a particular schedule. Apart from that, the camaraderie that the different stars share also plays an important role in determining the kind of output.
Director Shankar, however, it seems, has overcome such problems in his ‘Nanben’, which is the remake of the Hindi blockbuster, ‘Three Idiots’. Sources say that the ace director managed to plan the film in such a way that the three stars could adjust their dates and ensure their availability on the sets.

Most industry pundits are of the opinion that multistarrers in Kollywood are usually more difficult to make.
Moreover, Vijay, Jiiva and Srikanth were very comfortable working with each other during the making of the film and that has helped the film come out well. The stars too agree.
Citing an instance to explain the camaraderie between them, Vijay says, "Srikanth is a good friend as is Jiiva. The problem with me is that I can’t contain my laughter if somebody makes me laugh. Once I burst out laughing, it takes me quite a while to contain it. And Jiiva, being the prankster that he is, would often make me burst out laughing, all the while keeping a straight face. There have been a number of such occasions during the shooting of ‘Nanben’."
