Mumbai: A day after a Punjab policeman was murdered in full public view for raising voice against men who misbehaved with his daughter, another brutal murder has come to light. A 19-year-old boy was stabbed to death by five people in Mumbai - four of the boys are minors.
The victim, Santosh Vichivara was stabbed by a 16-year-old when he protested against the boys harassing a female friend. The incident happened late on Monday night.
All the five assailants have been arrested. While the 18-year-old assailant has been sent to police custody for 10 days, the four minors have been sent to a juvenile centre in Bhiwandi. Santosh's father died two years ago and he was the sole bread earner in the family.
