Mumbai: A peace march in memory of the 7/11 blast victims was organised on Sunday.
The march, which was a result of a single thought shared by some young minds, was organised with a vision to make a difference.
"It starts with one, but people have to come out. If it would have been just me walking, this march wouldn’t have been possible," one of the organiser's, Nimisha said.
Celebs also joined other citizens to support the vicitms and it turned out to be an ideal platform for them to come out with their complains.
Here is what the some of them had to say:
"There are very few examples being set by our leaders. The leadership is very bad in a city like Mumbai," singer and actress Rageshwari said.
Actress Helen said, "This is the way we should stand together, united and fight the evil, because in the end good always overpowers evil."
"Everyone needs an emotional outlet. People should take their time to heal and not be in a hurry to get back to work," one of the organiser's Raksha said.
"We had a vision and what you see behind us is just the beginning, we have a long way to go," another organiser Asif, added.
Nimisha said, "No price is good enough for a life taken. So come come out and help in whatever way you can."
