Mumbai: South Mumbai, the epicenter of multiple terror attacks. That's where terror first struck and continued through the midnight. Three hotels, a railway station, a restaurant, petrol pump and then a hospital.

It was at the Cama hospital where terrorists were reportedly hiding. But police engaged them in a fierce gun battle, averting what could've been a hi-drama hostage situation.

Five people were killed. As the death toll rose on Wednesday night, the action expectedly pilled over into major hospitals in the vicinity.

People witnessed ambulance after ambulance bringing in the dead and injured. Terror once again visited Mumbai. But the ghastly attack on Wednesday night has left behind a trail of trauma.

JJ Hospital is where more than a 100 people injured were brought. The body of Maharashtra ATS chief Hemant Karkar who took a fatal bullet in the militant encounter at CST lies in the hospital.

The dead are being shifted to St George's hospital. Three other policeman who died in gun battles were brought dead here.

Doctors and nursing staff are coping at this hour of emergency. But if you want to help by donating blood, contact them at these numbers.
