Abhishek Bachchan's forthcoming film Delhi 6 is set in the Capital. The actor spoke about his upcoming film and also described his experience with Delhi.
CNN-IBN: The promos of Delhi 6 looks really interesting, tell us more about it?
Abhishek Bachchan: Delhi 6 is the postal code for old Delhi, popularly known as Chandni Chowk. It's the story about a boy called Roshan Mehra which is my character. He's been born and brought up in New York. He comes back from New York with his grandmother to Delhi and discovers the city and his country.
CNN-IBN: So that is what is signified by the statue of liberty in the poster?
Abhishek Bachchan: Yes, it's the bridge between East and West.
CNN-IBN: Do you like Mumbai or Delhi?
Abhishek Bachchan: Definitely Mumbai because I was born and brought up here. But I love Delhi as a city and have lived in Delhi for three years. I studied in Delhi for a year. It's beautiful city and it's our Capital. But I'm partial to Mumbai.
CNN-IBN: Will the film appeal to someone who is not from Delhi?
Abhishek Bachchan: It will because it is not about a city but it's people and also about an atmosphere and a community. And I think even if people haven't been to Delhi, if you experience Delhi 6 you'll get to experience Delhi.
