New Delhi: Of those killed in the Hyderabad twin blasts on Saturday, seven are engineering students from Maharashtra.
The body of one of them, 19-year-old Irshad Ahmed, has now been brought to his home at Saki Naka in Mumbai.
“I was watching TV when the blast occurred. There was no news about him till 11’o clock at night,” says Irshad's Father, Mohammad Abdul.
Irshad had gone to Hyderabad with 44 of his classmates on an industrial trip. All were second year students at the Amrutvahini Engineering College in the Sangamner Taluka of Ahmednagar district.
The students were watching the laser show at Lumbini Park when the blast occurred. 5 students were critically injured in the blast.
Nearly 44 people are feared dead, including five women and two students and over 100 were injured when deafening explosions ripped through the recreational centres in Lumbini Park and Hyderbad's famous Gokul Chat Bhandar in Kothi locality, which was teeming with weekend crowd.
