1 women killed, three injured in bus accident

Mumbai: A Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) bus ran over four people in suburban Andheri in Mumbai on Friday morning killing a women and seriously injuring three others.

The injured have been admitted to the VN Desai Hospital.

The accident took place on the Marol Link road at about 0900 hrs IST when the driver of the bus lost control over the vehicle and hit several people on the road.

The bus number 22 was heading from Kurla to Andheri at the time.

Police said the driver of the bus has been arrested.
